WSA has been supplying Douglas County with the high In 1996, Congress amended the Safe Drinking Water Act. This amendment added a provision requiring that all community water systems deliver to their customers a brief annual water quality report. These Consumer Confidence Reports (CCR's) summarize the information that water systems collect in order to comply with regulations. The CCR includes information on your source water, the levels of any detected contaminants, and compliance with drinking water rules, plus some educational material. Each year in June, WSA includes a copy of the latest CCR in every water bill. CCR's cover the testing done for the previous year (i.e., The 2009 report is for the information gathered throughout 2008.).
