As a courtesy to our customers, WSA will review a customer’s request for an adjustment due to a leak on the customer’s side of the meter. However, please keep in mind that water/sewer adjustments will be made only in unusual circumstances. Broken service lines or internal plumbing problems do not, in and of themselves, constitute an unusual circumstance.
To be considered for a leak adjustment, the following requirements must be met:
1. The leak must be repaired within sixty days.
2. Request for an adjustment must be made within three months of the repair. To print a leak adjustment request form, click here.
3. The customer is responsible for maintaining full payment of the balance due or for setting up payment arrangements until the request is granted or a denial of the request is made.
4. Any payments not paid by the due date will subject the account to a late penalty and/or to termination of service.
