Due to the significant increase in rainfall events, the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) has released Douglas County from the Level 2 Drought designation. This release removes all outdoor watering restrictions that local residents and businesses have been under since November of 2016. Douglas County will remain in a Level 1 Drought designation until further notice from the EPD.
The Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority would like to thank the community for their dedication to conserving water and adhering to the outdoor watering restrictions while they were in place.
