Each year, the Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (WSA) chooses a local non-profit organization to be the beneficiary of funds raised through “Jeans for a Cause.” WSA employees pay $5.00 to wear jeans on Fridays throughout the year. At the end of the year, all the money raised is given to the non-profit to help them fund programs and initiatives within the Douglas County community. 2017’s funds were given to support Beyond the Front Porch, a group that provides fun and educational field trips to low income families.

The 2018 beneficiary of “Jeans for a Cause” will be West Georgia Elves, a local group that provides support for families with children that have serious illnesses.
