Board of Directors

WSA policies are set by a Board of Directors composed of seven members. Five of the Board members are local residents appointed alternately by the Douglasville’s City Council and the Douglas County’s Board of Commissioners to serve five-year staggered terms. The Mayor of the City of Douglasville and the Chairman of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners both serve as ex-officio voting members of the Authority. The Board appoints the Executive Director who serves by contract.
